drawing again

for those of you curious about the kind of stuff i draw for school, here's a recent illustration of mine... drawn by hand and then rendered in photoshop!

been a lovely couple of days, scarfing down empanadas and egyptian cuisine, vintage clothes shopping (too short on cash to buy anything though), and generally getting my life in some semblance of order as i will be moving apartments... goodbye queens, bonjour brooklyn! will be nice to be living near my friends finally, although i will very very much miss this neighborhood... so behind on updating the website, obviously... but soon enough, soon enough!

nice! did you have to use photoshop at school when rendering drawings?

where in brooklyn are you moving to?

nah, in school we did everything by hand... but i recently took a computerized fashion art course where we learned photoshop for rendering figures and illustrator for flats.

i'm moving to greenpoint!!! very close to the naussau g, about a 15-minute walk to the bedford L. will be much much easier to hang out with all my brooklyn friends now!! so excited.

was that course for school credit, or for fun? i have to take something like that @ parsons before i graduate...

i did it for credit, but it's not a requirement. should be though, considering the industry nowadays!!

welcome back -- god how i wish i could've traveled!! sigh!
